When I first learned about this idea I felt like my scrapbook delinquincy had finally received a resolution. I am terrible at keeping a scrapbook but this way, even if I get behind a week or two in putting the pages together, there is some sort of rhyme or reason for me to document the story of our lives. In the past I would just have volumes of pictures from significant events and it all seemed overwhelming. Now, I feel like, though it may be just as much work in the end, I am simply documenting our "day-to-day" instead of a dozen big events throughout the year. It seems more real to me and that is where my excitement has evolved. I will keep a daily check (or every few days) here on this blog and then I will transfer to the hard copy in my book periodically. So here I begin this project...
Our story began in 2003 in a little town called Grace, Idaho. Dusty had just returned home from his mission and was trying to figure out civilian life again when he completely swept me off my feet. We met in June and were married in August. It was straight out of a fairy tale for me. Our first ten months were fantastic...and then there were three! Rhiannon slipped right into our lives followed by our little Cy. And so it began...
